President Xi's stories with Macao

On June 10, 2000, six months after the return of Macao, Xi, then governor of Fujian province, visited Macao. During the visit, Xi made extensive contacts with people from all walks of life and actively enhanced the mutual understanding between the two places.
At a conference on Fujian's economic development on June 12, Xi told Macao people in a keynote speech about the development of the province's economy and the idea of further strengthening the economic and trade cooperation between Fujian and Macao.
