On Sunday, the Taliban captured Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan and home to some 6 million people.

Hujjatullah Zia, a political analyst and senior writer in Daily Outlook Afghanistan, said Kabul residents were caught by surprise when waking up on Sunday and everyone was afraid, disappointed and angry. But now the residents are a bit quieter as the Taliban leadership has ordered not to disrupt daily life of people. In the video, Zia shares his insights and views with China Daily in Kabul. He hopes the situation could get normal soon.
