On April 14, at the construction site of Pole No 02 of the garbage station branch line on the 10-kilovolt Chunzhu west line in Wangdian town, Yingzhou district, Fuyang city, the staff members of State Grid Fuyang Power Supply Company installed a distribution automation switch on the line by means of live-line work, further improving the automation level of the distribution network and the reliability of power supply.

On that day, the live-line working personnel of the company set up a safety fence, hung safety signs around the site and carefully inspected the insulating tools for live-line work and personal protective equipment. After the work leader assigned tasks at the pre-work meeting, three live-line working personnel put on a full set of insulating protective equipment, carried insulating tools, and operated the insulating bucket truck to slowly rise, starting the intense and orderly work. After nearly two hours, the live-line working personnel successfully completed the installation of the switch.
