State Grid Changzhou safeguards campus power ahead of new semester

As the autumn semester approaches, the State Grid Changzhou Power Supply Company has intensified efforts to ensure a safe and reliable electricity supply for schools in Changzhou, East China's Jiangsu province.
On Aug 28, the company's Jincheng Power Supply Station dispatched inspection teams to conduct thorough checks on power facilities around campuses, aiming to provide a bright, safe, and secure environment for teachers and students.
Ensuring campus electricity safety has long been part of the company's commitment to fulfilling its social responsibilities. After the summer break and recent severe weather such as typhoons, potential risks to power facilities increase. The special inspection campaign is designed to detect and eliminate these hazards, keeping equipment in optimal condition for the new semester.
Despite high temperatures, inspection personnel examined facilities, including transformers, low-voltage lines, and residual current protective devices, both inside and outside school campuses.
Looking ahead, the State Grid Changzhou Power Supply Company will continue to monitor electricity use at schools and work to guarantee smooth operations throughout the semester. In addition, it will also organize lectures and other activities on electricity safety to help protect teachers and students in their daily use of power.
