Young skater seeks record skill

An 8-year-old girl surnamed Li is planning to apply for a new Guinness World Record for her special skating skills in Foshan's Shunde District, Guangdong Province.

Li can easily skate to pass nine 23-centimeter-high squares in 70 seconds while blindfold.

Said to have learned how to skate when she was very young, Li is considering further increasing the difficulty of her performances.
