BEIJING - A bussinesswoman who was involved in the corruption case of former railway minister Liu Zhijun has been charged with illegal business operation and bribery, sources with Beijing procuratorial authorities confirmed Saturday.

The No 2 Beijing Municipal People's Procuratorate has filed the charges against Ding Shumiao, a native of North China's Shanxi province, according to a statement from the procuratorate.

The No 2 Beijing Municipal Intermediate People's Court has accepted the case, but a trial date is yet to be revealed.
