Zhou Guozhong, a 53-year-old paraplegic from Shenyang, Northeast China's Liaoning province, says he has found meaning in life from scrap paper and rice.

Twenty years ago, Zhou was paralyzed in a traffic accident. The accident took away function from his legs, bounding him to a wheelchair.

In 2011, he began making scaled-down military vehicles and famous Chinese buildings by hand. Some of Zhou's models include Tian'anmen Square and the Shenyang Railway Station. The materials he uses are nothing more than trash and leftover rice.
