More: Policy changes within June

1. Electronic tourist visas for India

Rules that changed on June 1

Indian president Narendra Modi unveiled a visa plan to attract Chinese travelers during his China visit in May.

India will issue electronic tourist visas to Chinese citizens in June in celebration of 2015 as “Visit India year” in China.

The process of getting an India electronic visa will be much simpler. The new policy permits people to apply, pay and receive visas online, saving the trouble of having to go to the embassy.
