Director Teng Huatao and writer Bao Jingjing cooperate again in Up in the Wind, trying to reprise the glory of Love Is Not Blind, a smash hit of 2011. Love Is Not Blind, a romantic drama made with only 8 million yuan ($1.3 million), grossed 330 million yuan at the domestic box office, beating Hollywood blockbusters such as Real Steel and Tintin. Up in the Wind is also a romantic tale between two young lovers. The setting is Nepal, where the two escape from their exhausting lives and work in Beijing. The film, starring Ni Ni, lead actress in Zhang Yimou's 2011 epic The Flowers of War, will premiere on Dec 29.
