Song of Everlasting Regret

As a ballet adaptation of a narrative poem of the same title by Bai Juyi from the 9th century, Song of Everlasting Regret made its debut on July 30 performed at Shanghai Grand Theatre by Shanghai Ballet. At the end of November, it will shine on Beijing stage.

Director of the Shanghai ballet troupe, Xin Lili, said they have always strived to "tell Chinese stories on the world stage" and have engaged renowned artists such as French choreographer Patrick de Bana to infuse an international element to the troupe.
