Activities Marking the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of World's Anti-Fascism War and Chinese People's War Against Japanese Aggression

Sponsored by China's Ministry of Culture, a series of activities marking the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of World's Anti-Fascism War and Chinese People's War against Japanese Aggression held in the United Nations headquarters in New York drew great attention around the world.

On August 24, 2015, an exhibition was held at the United Nations headquarters. Titled "Remembering for Peace", the exhibition displayed more than 100 historical photos showcasing the efforts made in the Chinese people's war of resistance against Japanese aggression.

A few days later, on 28th August 2015, the memorial concert was held at the United Nations headquarters by the Chinese Mission to the United States and China Ministry of Culture. Famous Chinese conductor, Yulong, conducted the concert during which excellent artists from America, Russia, England and France performed with Shanghai Symphony Orchestra.
