Cultural exchanges and tightened UK-China partnerships were also highlighted at the event, with Alice in Wonderland-themed activities organized for children and some traditional British brands presenting their products, bringing a strong sense of British lifestyle.

"Our passion to bring the British culture to China extends far beyond our cooperation on projects," said Yuan Yafei, chairman of Sanpower Group, one of the sponsors of the event, which will bring hundred-year-old British fashion brand House of Fraser and toy giant Hamleys to Nanjing, China for the first time, this fall.
