Hollywood and China see a future for co-productions

In response to the agreement between China and the United States to encourage cross-cultural, people-to-people exchanges, U.S. and Chinese filmmakers are gearing up to jump into the fray.

With the U.S. entertainment industry topping 11.3 billion U.S. dollars in 2016 and China's rocketing in recent years to 6.6 billion U.S. dollars, the stakes for film and TV productions that can succeed in both the U.S. and Chinese market have never been higher.
