The Aluminum Corp of China (CHALCO) Guizhou branch(中國(guó)鋁業(yè)貴州分公司), located in the Baiyun district of Guiyang, is one of China's top 500 manufacturers with more than 14,000 employees and total assets of 10.7 billion yuan.
The company produces an annual capacity of 400,000 tons of electrolytic aluminum, 1.2 million tons of aluminum oxide and 270,000 tons of carbon products among others.
Its pioneering use of sandy aluminum oxide and high purity aluminum is a trademark of the Guizhou branch. The "Jieyun" and "Huaguang" brands are famous in Guizhou. It has also been recognized as a country-level corporation and a test center for aluminum electrolysis and carbon cathode electric products.
