A notice to adjust the basic pension of retirees in 2014 was jointly released by the Henan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and the Henan Provincial Department of Finance on April 9.
Based on the adjustment, the basic pension of the enterprise retirees in Henan province saw another increase of 115 yuan ($18.49) from the first day of 2014. The beneficiaries of the adjustment, according to the notice, will be those who handled retirement procedures before Dec 31, 2013. The ones who qualified for the requirement will have their basic pension raised 115 yuan per month.
