Tourist sites in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei province, organized various activities to mark Qixi, Chinese Valentine’s Day, which fell on August 13 this year, for those willing to brave the scorching temperatures.

The Mulan Tianchi scenic spot has arranged a “l(fā)ove bus” tour in August and, on August 12, a total of 77 couples were invited to come to a scenic spot at the East Lake.

The next day, the East Lake Sea World offered couples a discount on the ticket price, and also offered roses made of gold foil to ten couples selected in a lucky draw.

In addition, couples enjoyed a ticket price discount at Wuhan Happy Valley from August 10 to 13, and wedding ceremonies were held in the park.
