CAEXPO Thailand exhibition: a fresh start

The China – ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) exhibition on Thailand, a measure to support the Belt and Road Initiative, concluded on April 4.

The three-day exhibition held exclusive promotions and trade symposiums for Chinese enterprises in Bangkok. More than 100 Chinese and Thai enterprises exhibited products and participated in the project matchmaking symposium.

As an exploration for the China – ASEAN Expo, the Thailand exhibition expanded the expo's reach, improved economic benefits, and promoted the Sino-Thai friendship and cooperation.

The products included mechanical equipment, light industry, food, chemical engineering products, electrical appliances, building materials, and pharmaceuticals. Services and investment were also on show.

Both Chinese and Thai participants praised the exhibition for showcasing the role Thailand plays in Sino-ASEAN cooperation.

At the official meeting of the 12th China – ASEAN Expo in March, representatives expressed enthusiasm for holding the Expo in ASEAN countries.
