The Calbuco volcano erupts on April 22, 2015 near Puerto Varas in the Llanquihue Region, Chile. The volcano, considered as one of the most potentially dangerous in Chile, erupted for the first time in more than 42 years. In Argentina, Bariloche and Neuquen airports were shut, with Bariloche - which TV pictures showed covered in grey ash - due to be closed Friday too. Flights by LATAM Airlines' local arm LAN Argentina and state-owned Aerolineas Argentinas were affected.
