The 2025 annual congress of the Asia-Pacific Association of Gynecologic Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy was held in Shanghai from Thursday through Sunday, drawing more than 700 global experts to discuss and share the latest advancements and trends in minimally invasive gynecological treatments.

The event, now in its 25th year, featured 32 sub-forums, with nearly 75 percent conducted in English, showcasing its international reach and influence.

Over the course of four days, world-leading experts participated in high-level academic forums covering a wide array of topics, including gynecologic oncology, hysteroscopy, fertility preservation, uterine fibroids, robotic surgery, perioperative management, and new technologies.

This year's event also featured live broadcasts of surgeries, forums for young scholars, oral presentations, and video demonstrations. Additionally, practical workshops on various surgical techniques were offered, focusing on the standardization and innovative development of minimally invasive gynecological procedures.

The annual meetings of the association, initiated by gynecologic endoscopy experts from the Asia-Pacific, aim to foster academic exchange and promote the dissemination of minimally invasive techniques. The event has grown to become one of the largest academic conferences in this field within the region. This year's meeting was the first to be hosted by experts from Shanghai.
