Temple workers brave "coin rain"

We all dream of coins falling down from heaven. But the reality of such a shower is a lot less romantic – and a lot more painful – than what one might expect.

Many pilgrims prayed for blessings at the Guiyuan Temple in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, by throwing coins into the temple's main hall on Feb 23, dfic.cn reported.

However, when the temple's employees came out to collect the coins, they had to wear helmets to protect themselves from the rain of falling coins.
