A winter respite-at lightning speed in Thailand

 In Mexico there are many kinds of tostada, a corn tortilla chip, and the topping differs as ingredients change, such as chicken, fish, shrimp, beef and vegetables.

In the restaurant, tostadas are served in a couple of sizes, and the tuna tostada I had were very savory, the dressing being made of orange juice, soy sauce, ginger and chipotle chili, which is a Mexican chili.

The restaurant's version of corn lollipops, a Mexican street food, was also delicious, with grilled corn, and sauce made with Mexican chipotle chili.

As for drinks, apart from various cocktails, mocktails are also available.

Once that last drink is downed it is time to head back to the hotel for the night and heading back to the airport the next morning before saying a reluctant farewell to this all to short respite from the cold. China and work beckon.
